What progress did you make today on your solution? What needs to be completed next class?

Today i finished section 3 and turned it in. I will in most probability spend time tonight doing section 4 and completing it. I expeect it to be a challenge, but a fun one indeed. I anticipate that i will be able to quickly independantly create most of the code for the searches and the sorts. I will immediately be able to print out the given info as a reflection.

What progress did you make today on your solution? What needs to be completed next class?

Today i made alot of progress with my code. I managed to get it to run well but then. I will now proceed with the graphics of the monster project. I expect to have some fun but i expect it to be challenging. Because of my success i feel much more confident.

2. What choices did you face in developing your solution, and how did you choose among them?

Today i had to make choices in how to implement a a quick sort. I also had to decuide how to implement the merge sort. Other choices I had to make were how to do linear search. I also had to decide how to describe the implementation of the binary search. Finding the diction for the implementation was dificult. I will be able to finish this task at lunch today.

How did you go about testing your program? What were the results of that testing?

Today i made a pllethora of progress on my code. It will be ready for submittion tommorrow. I am almost done and the code just needs a touch o magic to be completed. The occasional annoying error plagues my program. My results were though mixed betwween succes and failure. I however thought of it as a success.

How did you go about testing your program? What were the results of that testing?

The results of my testing were inproved from the previous day. However i think there maybe a way to ensure better results. I ntend to isolate the error causing my project failure. I also intend to return at lunch so as to work on it. There may be other reasons causing my failure. I also think that java should be a double period so as to allow us more time to complete programs

What progress did you make today on your solution? What needs to be completed next class?

Today i managed do the majority of the section 4. I will commence testing tommorrow. The results of this program will truly fascinate me. this program will give me new insight into the program functionality. Intend on commemcing and completing the testing part of the program tommorrow, then submitting it for grading.

What choices did you face in developing your soution and how did you choose amoung them?

Today i had to make choices in how to implement a postfix. I also had to decuide how to implement the infix. Other choices I had to make were how to organize the information. I also had to decide how to describe the implementation of the infix vs postfixd based on postfix. Finding the diction for the implementation was dificult. I will be able to finish this task at lunch today.

1. What problems did you encounter while developing your solution? How do you plan to overcomethem?/How did you overcome them?

Today i had trouble finding the solution due to several errors. My code could not simply do as i pleased. My code keept on ommitting results airgo leading to my fustration. Tommorrow with much hope i will be able to complete my code and move on. This is however unlikely, my code just simply refused to compile

How did you go about testing your program? What were the results of that testing?

Today i went about testing my code by entering values. I also went about testing it by testing seperate classes to check for functionality. The results of my testing were successful. I was able to get definate values for my code. This allowed me to comparie them with other values.

How did you go about testing your program? What were the results of that testing?

My testing at best can be described as a failuire. My code plain and simply crashed and burned. I inserted an array and run my code. when i discovered there were errors i inserted output statements at several intervals. I did this to be able to identify plausible errors and solutions. I solved most of the errors in my code but it remains errornous.

What progress did you make today on your solution? What needs to be completed next class?

Today i managed to do most of section 4, instead of looking at the book's code first i made my own. I figured this would be most beneficial to enhancing my abilities. Tommorrow intend on completing the code and submitting it. I intend on testing out the capabilities of the the listnode on the sorts. I also intend to make significant steps in Part 5 tommorrow.

Today i continued testing my solutions with several tools. It was erronous to a great extent. The values i got were way off. I hope to have better results tommorrow

Tuesday, October 23, 2007

today we studied the dynamics of an effective program. We analzed them by looking at how many times each program had to be processed. We also received an new array of assignments to complete. These assignments included stuff for the second marking period. These also include lessons from big java.

How did you go about testing your program? What were the results of that testing? I went about testing my project my using the values preodained by ms petr. My testing was a ravaging success. As result i turned in my work to ms petr. Tommorrow i will continue with other projects. I have much work to do. It will be fun, though demanding much work
